The Bray
Modernizing a timeless art form
The Challenge
Located in Helena, Montana, The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts is an international creative center solely dedicated to the ceramic arts, and serves as a gathering place for emerging and professional ceramic artists from around the world.
WPR was asked to modernize and update their name, brand and marketing efforts.
The Goal & Strategy
Before we act, we listen. Our team started with a deep dive of organizational materials. We then talked with resident artists and the international board of directors. Out of these findings came a brand plan articulating a new mission, vision, values, character and promise, as well as a recommended new name: The Bray.
The Results
We brought this new brand to life internally through a branding and guidelines toolkit and engaging “Brand 101” employee sessions.
WPR then worked hand-in-hand with The Bray’s creative team to completely update three unique websites – their main site, the gallery site and the Bray Clay e-commerce site – to prioritize a premium user experience, dynamic e-commerce, improved analytics capability, search engine optimization and more.
