Focus-group research and new communication tools for Oregon's second largest school district.

The Beaverton School District wanted to engage people in a conversation to imagine what success for their diverse student population should look like. They wanted game-changing ideas that connect to the hearts and minds of students, parents, teachers, staff, and business and community leaders.

We helped them develop a series of community conversations with students, parents (including native Spanish speakers), staff, senior citizens, employees at large, businesses and more. We partnered with DHM Research to produce a survey for all district residents, helped them develop their new Pillars of Learning and “WE” approach to engage the community, and worked with the Nike School Innovation Fund and Studio Kate to produce their new “WE” video. Additionally, we advised the district on the homepage and architecture for their new website.
