It’s not just a 135-year-old structure with a cast-iron front, but a living, iconic addition to the Portland visitor scene. It is also a beacon in the revival and revitalization of historic Old Town/Chinatown.
Weinstein PR produced a PR plan, which included key messages, media training, media tours, press releases, media for the grand opening and more. The long-term goal was to establish the surrounding neighborhood as the festive epicenter of Chinatown, an effort that can serve as a national model to revitalize Chinatowns in other metro areas.
