A great family-owned company in Southern Oregon, Sunday Afternoons was one of the first companies in the nation to manufacture UPF-rated sun-blocking products.
Their hats look great, but you’ll really be sold when you put one on. Everyone looks fashionable in Sunday Afternoons, and they perform.
Founders Angeline and Robbin Lacy came up with their first product idea, the Adventure Blanket, in 1990, followed by the iconic Adventure Hat in 1996. They had a great business, but were unheard of in the outdoor trade and lifestyle media.
That’s where we came in to help—the outdoor industry is one of our favorite sectors. We developed a strategic communications plan and key messages to tell the company’s stories, which have led to product placements in The New York Times, O, the Oprah Magazine, the Today Show, Better Homes & Gardens, Shape, Weight Watchers, Men’s Fitness, Runner’s World, Outdoor Insight, Parents, Outside, Backpacker, Explore, Oxygen, Travel + Leisure, In-Fisherman, Women’s Running, Portland Monthly, Outdoor Retailer Daily, HGTV, SportsOneSource and Inside Outdoor.
