This residential development in Northeast Portland is an exciting example of urban renewal. Like many cities, Portland needs more affordable housing. Shaver Green isn’t just affordable, it’s well located within Portland’s interstate corridor, and it’s bright and modern with LEED building standards all over it.
Minority-owned Armstrong Development spearheaded the project, which included plans for Zip Car access, green roofs, solar panels and radiant floor heat. Weinstein PR did public relations announcing the project plans and groundbreaking, and got the word out for Shaver Green’s official opening to local media and national development trade magazines.
The best part: Weinstein PR secured the attendance of local officials at Shaver Green’s groundbreaking and grand opening events. At the events themselves, we did on-site media relations and helped the Armstrong team conduct interviews, which we love. Hands-on media relations are always an energizing, dynamic experience.
