Oregon Manifest

2011 was Weinstein PR‘s first go at public relations for Oregon Manifest, getting the word out about their semi-annual event. This super-cool bike building competition focuses on great design and utility and draws some serious talent. Top designers from across the U.S. and beyond turn up to share their ideas and vie for prizes and glory.

It was our pleasure to help rally design schools, bike builders and various and sundry other bike lovers to enter the Oregon Manifest challenge or keep it on their radars. National media and international design media helped us spread the word about this amazing competition, and then the real fun started …

The best part: When the 2011 Oregon Manifest bike designs debuted, people fell madly in love with them. Stories were spread not only by the media—online, print and TV—but also by smartphone, Facebook and Twitter. It was the ultimate spreadable PR effort that soon went global. People in Italy, England, Japan and elsewhere were raving about Oregon Manifest. Major fun.
